The Canford - Poole

Garden view was pleasant, the room was huge and new-fashioned.

The restaurant was great with fantastic food, we ordered wonderful dishes. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and a work desk, multi-channel television and ironing facilities were a bonus. The location was brilliant, being close to the beach....  

It is always good place to stay.

The room was lovely, but the air conditioning was very noisy.

The staff at the Plantation always seem genuinely attentive, and the spacious rooms are certainly comfortable. Some elements like the hot room temperature and a few maintenance issues detracted from the overall experience. Still, the dining exceeded expectations with delicious options.

This hotel suits me perfectly, with great Wi-Fi, a cute bar/lounge area, and in-room breakfast. I'll never forget how the staff helped me find my lost barrette on my first stay. I highly recommend it!

Spacious rooms and good service

The Double Room was spacious and beautifully decorated, complemented by a fantastic shower that could easily be described as luxurious. We were impressed by the little touches, like fresh milk for our teas and the delicious breakfast served in bed. One area for improvement could be the organization of the bar's seating, as it got a bit crowded at times.

great service but minor comfort issues

The staff were accommodating and made check-in easy. The garden view from our room was a good surprise.

The bed could have been more comfortable for a better night's sleep.

The beautifully decorated room offered an amazing shower I didn't want to leave, complemented by a good evening of drinks in the garden. The breakfast experience was chaotic with slow service and unclean tables, while the flat beer at the bar was disappointing. The stay had both charming elements and significant service issues.

The staff were friendly, and the breakfast offered a great variety, including fresh pastries. The room wasvery comfy and tidy, perfect for a couple's getaway.

the parking situation was a bit tight.

Absolutely loved the endless pancakes and fresh local eats! Plus, the lovely spacious rooms and thoughtful touches, like a welcome note and brownies. Can't forget the friendly staff.

We booked a suite but got a smaller room than expected, with a view of a noisy generator instead of a garden. The damp ceiling didn't help either, and the weak Wi-Fi left us without our streaming fix.

Absolutely fine stay!

I spent one night in a suite, and wow, the room was just fabulous! Great design and super spacious. The bed was comfy with great bedding. Plus, there was a roll-top bath which was a nice touch. Only thing was the curtains were a bit off on one side, but honestly, it didn't ruin the vibe. Enjoyed room service for breakfast too!

The location of Canford in Poole is fantastic, just a quick walk to the beach. My room was spacious and the bed super comfortable, perfect for a restful night. I appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in the room, made my mornings much nicer. The breakfast was a highlight. Quick service and a variety of options really hit the spot. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I found that the bathroom could use some attention. The shower pressure was weak, and the decor felt a bit outdated overall. I noticed some cleanliness issues. The coffee machine seemed neglected and the corridors needed a good vacuuming. Those aspects took away from an otherwise enjoyable visit.
